Overview: Bolivia faces very severe problems related to mercury use and inappropriate management. The existing regulation in the country covers chemicals management in general but it is not specific to mercury management. Bolivia has not yet carried out a national mercury inventory. As of 2015, Bolivia has a population of 11,410,651 people.
