UN Environment

UN Environment is the environmental agency of the United Nations System. It coordinates environmental activities, sets the global environmental agenda and promotes the implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable  development, in addition of encouraging nations and peoples to defend the global environment.



UNITAR is a training arm of the United Nations System. It is dedicated to providing training and capacity development activities to assist mainly developing countries, with special attention to Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and other groups and communities who are most vulnerable, including those in conflict situations.
