The project “Ratification and early implementation of the Minamata Convention of Mercury in Peru” has been closed after all the activities have been held and all the objectives have successfully been achieved.

The project aimed at preparing a ratification dossier and identifying priority areas and actions for the implementation of the Minamata Convention, and was carried out with the cooperation of the Ministry of Environment of Peru (MINAM) and UNITAR and the financial support of the Swiss and Confederation.
