The platform highlights the activities of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in support of ratification and early Implementation of the Minamata Convention on mercury. Here you can read more about the background of our projects.
As part of the ongoing efforts for building national capacity of countries, UNEP and UNITAR have decided to collaborate on developing an online training platform: MercuryLearn. The main component is the UNEP Toolkit for Identification and Quantification of Mercury Releases. The platform is an innovative idea which provides interactive modules assisting users in learning to develop mercury inventories.
